Aarg! Stop us is you've heard this one before, but when we contacted the Royal Oak to confirm the provisional booking, it was to encounter the (by now) classic scenario of:
- New management.
- No knowledge of pre-existing band bookings.
- No immediate free dates to re-make the booking.
So once again we're screwed. Apologies to anyone who'd made plans to come down and lend their support.
