Update - May 2009
As it's a sort of half anniversary of me joining the band (6 months that is) I thought I would write an appreciation of the other band members:
Lee: One of the best rock guitarists I have ever played with. Doesn't make mistakes and plays with real feeling - he also does that squeeky thing that Van Halen used to do (with his guitar I mean). All in all an absolute rock god. Unknown fact - Lee is actually quite a good drummer as demonstrated at the last rehearsal when we did a blues jam in E.
Dave: A good solid guitarist, excellent taste in music (Cardiacs), incredibly dry sense of humour and all round chilled out guy. he also has the biggest plug board I have ever seen (ooh er missus!).
Andy: A raw singing talent - can sing soft and loud and death metal and quite often in tune. A good front man (and getting better). Has an artistic temprement but haven't all singers?
Colin: A slightly amended version of the 'loud!' one earlier. It was a joke and only intended to spark the reaction that I got. Anyway.............
Colin can play, and not just loud but very well and with 135% attention. He is also a 'salt of the earth' type person (whatever that means) and will do anything for anybody. He is the life and soul of the band.

Has an artistic temperament? is that a nice way of saying moody & highly strung.......wish I was able to play guitar and drums and be a rock god...an stuff, at least loud isn't an insult.......artistic temperament indeed, I'm going to walk off in a huff now for at least 30 seconds.....then you'll be sorry.
I've never met someone with Jon's ability to make a fantastic joke and have no one in room be sure weather he means it or not, it's quite un-nerving at first, but now I know him I realise that if what he says makes me laugh....he's joking......I think.
Not a bad bass player either.
Loud? All I get is "Loud"??

Looks like your accountant, plays like a demon! A real find and we're glad to have him!
